Indonesia is one of the countries who march toward the development of sustainable smart cities. The undertaking is expected to solve a plethora of problems arising from urbanization. Smart city movements are growing all over the world. And for the future research extension, we will broaden the sample by considering other cases around the world and, in particular, by comparing banks in developed and developing countries. The research limitations of this descriptive study are Among the limitations of this study is the consideration of only one case study. Second, the results show how big data analytics and customer segmentation are being successfully helpful in the banking sector and especially the BNP Paribas bank of France.
